We've been to McCann's quite a few times and its one of our favorite places, any time of day. At night however, they do have a strict 21+ crowd even though the restaurant part is technically separate from the bar area, but it is what it is. The place itself stands out for its decor and vibe. They have outdoor seating, partial indoors, total indoor seating at high tops or at any of their couches (desperately need replacing!), countless TVs indoors as well as out, a pool room with two pool tables (read below) and a bar that spans almost an entire wall. They also have fun bar games as well as an internet juke box.

Every now and then either my husband or I will have a craving for some of our favorite foods from McCann's. Some things on their menu are just THAT good! Our favorites are the steak tidbit sandwich (on the apps menu but add $2 to make it a sandwich), steak quesadilla, braised short ribs and their onion rings. The menu is extensive with almost a dozen choices from each section--seafood, appetizers, salads, entrees, burgers (not always cooked that great but there are many to choose from) and sandwiches/wraps/quesadillas. They also have a raw bar to select from as well. One menu I have not had the luxury of trying is their Sunday Brunch menu, offered Sundays 11am-3pm.

They have nightly specials, for instance Two fer Tuesdays which includes any burger and a pint of beer for $12. Wednesday is ladies night where ladies drink for 1/2 price from 8pm-1am. Call ahead or check their website because their specials to change throughout the year. One of our favorite things about McCann's is that they have free pool Monday-Friday 10am-5pm and Sunday 7pm-4am. They also show PPV events and although they charge $10 at the door, it gets credited to your bill so as long as you are eating or drinking, there really is no cover. During UFC this place gets packed so I'd suggest to come early--they close off the pool tables when needed to have people literally sit on top of them!

When it comes to service, it is usually pretty good. On occasion it has been a little slow given the amount of tables occupied (during lunch) but the relaxing atmosphere and amazing food makes up for any lack in service. We have come here as with large groups when the place is packed and have had great experiences! One thing I have to note is that the mixed drinks are rather weak and the bartender can be a bit slow at times even when the bar is not packed.

I say this is a place worth checking out!
